Diabetes as a Weapon

Type 2 diabetes, or adult onset diabetes used to be a disease of the aged. Rarely
was it seen in the younger population of the United States. Not only has Type 2
Diabetes manifested in younger adults, but we are documenting more cases in
adolescents. In about one-hundred years we have seen an elderly disease move
rapidly into all age sectors of the U.S. population. What happened 100 years ago?
What changed so drastically as charge this dramatic change in the health of an
entire population?

The answer is: Sliced, white bread.

About a century ago, refined, white, enriched flour was found to be in violation of
the newly passed "Pure Foods Act". The U.S. Supreme Court then sent the case back
to a lower court for another stab at it. Meanwhile, the money interests and the
U.S.D.A. settled the suit with the flour millers of Kansas City "out of court". It
didn't take long for it to happen, but sliced, white, refined, bleach bread was
introduced back onto the market and into the diets of Americans.
Since that time we have seen a steady increase in diabetes. With Diabetes comes
heart disease. Diabetics tend to lean towards more instances of heart disease than
non-diabetics. What does bleached, enriched, refined flour not have that is
naturally included in flour from whole food wheat?

In the 1950's a researcher from the U.S.'s own National Institutes of Health
discovered that the mineral chromium as an essential nutrient and for a very
specific reason. Chromium is essential for the metabolism of glucose or blood
sugar. Chromium is a trace element because very little is needed. However, it is
very important to the body. Chromium is measured in micrograms. That's one part per
million. High sources of Chromium is found in whole grain wheat and sugar cane. It
would appear that the Creator put elements in our food to process the elements of
that particular food. Chromium is diminished by as much as 90% when put through the
poisoning process of refinement.

Chromium deficiency is linked as the main cause for the feeling of exhaustion and
tiredness during pregnancy. As the fetus develops, it uses more and more of the
Chromium stores of the mother. Soon, the mother is nearly completely devoid of what
little Chromium she had acquired from the adulterated food she had consumed. Being
tired is not, as they would have you believe, a part of being pregnant.

As this knowledge became more widespread through the non-controlled medias, the
international interests quickly patented Chromium Picolinate. A big to-do was made
of this "new" discovery. The problem with Chromium Picolinate is that the body
recognizes counterfeit or synthetic vitamins and minerals and is flushed with
little notice of a person's metabolism. Chromium Picolinate is also a slow poison
that will cause internal organ problems with continued use.

Type 2 Diabetes is a completely preventable condition. Diabetes is big business.
Add to this, genetically modified foods such as soybeans, canola, beef, and yes,
wheat and you have a food supply completely devoid of any nutrition that your body
will accept. Are we slowly being killed off for the benefit of "Big Pharma" to reap
profits from lifetime medicine purchases?
